Colorfest?

9:00 am to 5:00 pm both Saturday
and Sunday.

| Will the Colorfest
be held if it rains? |
Yes, although all
Colorfest activities are outdoors, the Colorfest will go on rain or
shine. There is no rain date. |
| Are pets allowed at
the Colorfest? |
Sorry, due to
problems in the past, pets are not permitted
in any of the craft areas. |
| Where should I park? |

page for the locations of the Colorfest
Park and Ride parking areas. There is no parking available at the
craft areas.

| Is there an
admission fee? |
Both craft areas are
free. |
| Is there a parking
fee? |
Park and Ride lots
charge $10.00 per car. The shuttle bus is free. You can
ride it
as
many times as you desire. |
| Is Handicap parking
available? |
Each Park and Ride
lot has handicap parking and a Handicap-accessible
bus available. There is no parking available at the craft areas. |
| How can I become an
exhibitor? |
Applications are
available after March 1 on the Forms page of this website or Send a
self-addressed stamped envelope with a short note
requesting an application to Catoctin Colorfest, Inc., P.O. Box 33,
Thurmont,
MD 21788. Deadline for applications is April 30. |
| Is there
entertainment available? |
A dance program will
be presented on the Basketball Court
in the Community Park at 11:00 and 1:00 both days. |
| Is there an ATM
availble? |
Yes, an ATM will be
located in the Community Park and the Fireman's Activity Grounds.
You may also find an ATM at the local banks in Thurmont. |
What is the address of the craft
areas so I can load into my GPS?

The community park is located at
15 Frederick Road and the Fireman's Activity Grounds is located at 125
East Main Street.

| What if I don't want
to carry all of my purchases all
day? |
There is an
information and Package Check, run by the
Thurmont Boy Scouts, located in the Municipal Parking Lot. |
| When will the
Colorfest be held next year? |
The Colorfest is
always held on the 2nd full weekend
in October. The 46th annual Colorfest will be held October 10
& 11, 2009. |
